Reasoning how u work

Can anyone tell me how does the spell card called Reasoning works.
I cant understand it(not much).Thank you!

so basically your opponent calls a number
and u keep sending cards until u can get a monster tht can be normal summoned by tributing or just without
then if the number ur opponent picks is the number off the monster then u special summon it
if not all cards go 2 the grave
